Hello and welcome to BBW Friendly, Your Information Website! Let me introduce myself, I am Duane Williams, the Founder and Webmaster of BBW Friendly. I was also the Founder and Chatmaster of BBW Friendly Chat Channel, which I started in August 1997 on Webmaster IRC server but closed in January 2003.

As of May 2010 BBW Friendly has a new look. I want to thank Rev. Francine Milano of the Spirit Network for designing and making the BBW Friendly header and the banners for BBW Friendly and BBW Friendly Dating. I want to thank Backgrounds by Marie for letting me use the background and graphics on BBW Friendly. I like to thank again, Rev. Francine Milano of the Spirit Network for designing and making the BBW Friendly header for BBW Friendly Dating and for the BBW Friendly Web Site Award.

There are a few websites that have been around as long or longer as we have but they fail to link us to their website but I have links to theirs! We also like to keep our website easy for those to navigate around it and enjoy it without having to figure out where to go. It is Your Information Website and will continue to be that way as long as we are around.

A Brief History

How did it all begin? When I use to chat with a Mcherri, we went on Webmaster IRC then we found ICQ to chat on. In September of 1997, I switched ISP and started working on my Home Page and the Mcherri was also working on her Home Page. I noticed how much better hers turned out compared to mine. I asked her if she would help me with my Home Page and she did. Then I thought about having a Website that would be an extension of the chat channel on Webmaster. I asked her would she like to design the website if I started one and she said yes.

In late October and early November 1997 I started looking into a Web Hosting Server. I found one and set it up and on November 22, 1997, Mcherri put up BBW Friendly website. Mcherri taught me how to work on the website with Frontpage. She was in the process of divorcing her husband of 20 years and was living by herself in Phoenix, AZ, so she kept busy by working on the website. In summer of 2000, her computer was stolen from her home and I took over completely on working on the website. Mcherri and I good friends now and I have put up a page for her. She was the one that really got this website up and running and to her I will always be grateful and glad to call her my friend.

I write all of the words you see on the site and do all the upkeep by adding new websites and deleting old websites that are no longer active. A website that came from a chat channel and a way for all BBP (Big Beautiful People) to meet.
