WHAT IS FRIENDSHIP? Excellent!!! I think the samebecause I had the same bad experience with my net friends. I also wish to have a long lasting friendship ...but even among older ppl I think it´s very difficult because ppl change. Once I told to my (best?) friend that the problem is mine ...because I don´t change and I know that others like having new experiences , looking for new friends. I think this is a great forum for BBW's. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your "friend". But you should not judge her nor her decisions to marry whom she did. You on the other hand should accept her decision and assist her/him whenever she/he needs it. I understand your comtemplation over friendships and happiness. I've comtemplated over the same things. My lover (many sizes smaller than I) have never...ever put his hands on me except in a loving manner. My ex-husband is another story. I was in that relationship for 10 years because I 'thought' I had the situation under control. I lost control the day I was injured and placed in a hospital. Although I knew my marriage was over after the 5th year, I stayed because of my children and because I was not financially stable to care for 3 children on my own (you know how society is about WELFARE). But when I got my wake up call via a fractured hip, I filed for my divorce and moved 20 miles away. GOD bless us BBW's all and all the time.

BBW Friendly is absolutely great. i tavel a lot and need to know places in different places to shop. There are also situations when you need something special to wear and you can't find it in a store, but the catalogs help. Then there's the point about enjoyable reading. I have been a BBW all my life. Sometimes smaller, sometimes bigger. This year, something has clicked. Maybe it's because I'm edging closer to 40. For whatever reason, this year I feel healthier than ever, both physically and emotionally. Although I have been on the internet for several years now, I never explored enough to come across such a great BBW site.
