I also wish to have a long lasting friendship ...but even among older ppl I think it´s very difficult because ppl change.

I think this is a great forum for BBW's. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your "friend". But you should not judge her nor her decisions to marry whom she did. You on the other hand should accept her decision and assist her/him whenever she/he needs it. I understand your comtemplation over friendships and happiness. I've comtemplated over the same things. My lover (many sizes smaller than I) have never...ever put his hands on me except in a loving manner. My ex-husband is another story. I was in that relationship for 10 years because I 'thought' I had the situation under control. I lost control the day I was injured and placed in a hospital. Although I knew my marriage was over after the 5th year, I stayed because of my children and because I was not financially stable to care for 3 children on my own (you know how society is about WELFARE). But when I got my wake up call via a fractured hip, I filed for my divorce and moved 20 miles away. GOD bless us BBW's all and all the time.

i read your heart warming message for a friend i can tell you that you have a dear friend there they are few an far i also have one for 25 yrs an she recently has suffered trama in her life an because we live in different states its hard for me to be there your work is wonderful especially in the society we live in today where people can be so cruel i was a thin person until i met with a car accident an my lungs colapsed they put me on steroids for almost two yrs an i quite never lost the weight i meet a wonderful man who loves me terriably i him keep up the good work gives others inspiration an keeps depression at a low
